The long days and short nights of an English summer are finally here, and
that means it’s almost JapShow time. Traditionally the summer JapShow event
has been in June, but please note that this year it’s gone back a week and
is now on Sunday 4th July, with a test day RWYB on Saturday the 3rd July.
With the show so close, there are just a few days left to sort of club
stands and book tickets to take advantage of the advance ticket discount.

Buy your tickets before Friday 25th June, and you can get Sunday tickets
from just £12 and weekend tickets with free camping from just £20! Please
note there are different ticket prices for non-Jap cars and booking fees
apply to advance tickets. Click here for ticket prices or call 01234 782 828

It’s all kicking off in the HKS Drag Series – with the 9-second barrier finally reached by Guy Chamberlain in the FWD class last week (congratulations Guy), the JapShow is your chance to see this incredible car do its thing once again. The Fac Mod class is positively bulging with new entries, and John Bradshaw is bringing some interesting new metal to the table in the Pro Class, giving his Skyline a well-earned break after taking the honours of “World’s Fastest Skyline”. The highly-competitive Street class guarantees some close racing, with many cars dipping into the 9s.

The stunt driver for the day has just been announced, and it’s the highly talented Paul Swift who is putting his neck on the line for your entertainment with his world-class stunt show, which will take place in between drifting sessions in the Live Action Arena.

Mitsubishi Evo fans will love the “Evolution of the Evolution” display being put on with help from the Lancer Register, where all generations of the Evo will be lined up together.

No news is good news when it comes to our regular features, because they are all here to stay, including Run What Ya Brung competition, FREE handling track, show car competition, jet car, traders, fun fair, dyno, bar and catering.
